My trip was amazing, and I thank you for all the help and expertise! The Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin was amazing, safe, accommodating and was in the best location for walking to shops, dining and entertainment. Dromoland Castle was a dream. It is exactly what you would expect when staying at a castle, even better really. All service workers went above and beyond, the food was exceptional and there were so many activities to enjoy for days you wanted to stay on site and “rest”. Seeing 300-year-old Ethel Rose bushes in the Walled Garden and having a hawk fly and land on my arm was incredible and moments I will not forget.
This was my first trip out of the country so, me being nervous was an understatement. Mari was always available for questions, recommendations, reminders, tips, and kept me informed all along the way. She never made me feel like a bother, and I will 100% use her again for all my trips!
Planettrekker planned this trip perfectly, listening to all the requests I made, changes to said requests and I was well within budget. I have zero complaints about any of it. I couldn’t have planned it better myself if I knew what I was doing. Mari handled all the travel arrangements, flight bookings, hotel bookings and a few tours. There were only a couple of tours that I did myself towards the end as I was finishing up my decisions on what to do each day. She was so helpful, and I could not have done this trip well without her!
I am a “planner” myself and have always planned great stateside vacations myself so wasn’t sure what a true travel agent could assist with. Boy did I get schooled! Not only was Mari able to get me better rates than had I done it on my own, she had the knowledge, experience, expertise to not just help me plan a trip, but to make it the best trip it could be! I will never plan another trip by myself. I will always call her!
