In her formative years, Mari's familial ties dispersed across the country necessitated frequent domestic travels, often by road, to connect with grandparents residing on the distant West Coast. These annual cross-country adventures introduced her to the captivating wonders of the United States, culminating in visits to all fifty states before reaching adulthood. While these experiences were undoubtedly remarkable, it was her inaugural international excursion that left an indelible mark on Mari's life.

In her illustrious career as a Travel Consultant, Mari has been privileged to collaborate with many of the travel industry's most talented professionals. Her extensive experience encompasses a wide spectrum of roles, including front-line agent, tour operator group manager, sales manager in the hotel industry, cruise line port-side worker, operations manager, sales manager in the golf travel sector, and corporate travel account manager. These diverse positions have equipped her with a wealth of knowledge and skills.

With this wealth of experience, Mari has turned her dream into reality by founding Planettrekker. She understands that being a Travel Consultant entails far more than sharing insights from her own travels. It involves leveraging the unique resources available to her as an industry insider to craft unparalleled travel experiences for her clients before, during, and after their journeys.
